Horsebridge is a large 1940s arts and craft style dwelling located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. The works comprised the full renovation of the existing dwelling: a two storey front extension to provide a double height entrance hall and feature staircase. A single storey side extension provides guest accommodation, utility and boot room. The existing dwelling had little architectural merit. HDS secured Planning Permission to modernise the exterior including replacing the tile hanging with black, charred timber. The front extension uses light grey linear bricks. HDS appointed full architectural services from inception to completion.
