About

This home, originally constructed in the 1930s, underwent a significant transformation to become a beachfront escape. The renovation included reconfiguring the ground floor to maximize the sea view and create a spacious, sociable living area. The renovation incorporated wood highlights throughout the interior design to give the home a lodge-like feel. This design element has included natural wood finishes or accents to create a warm and rustic atmosphere. The use of Crittall windows allowed the home to take advantage of the natural light and sea view. The exterior of the home was updated with a soft neutral render, creating a cohesive and calming look that blended with the natural surroundings. This transformation allowed the home to become a serene beachfront haven, combining comfort and aesthetics. HDS worked closely with the contractor King and Drury to provide technical design solutions.
